Less cash-handling

Skånetrafiken is working to eliminate cash ticket sales on board its vehicles by 1 June 2011 at the latest.

On town buses in Malmö you can only buy tickets for travel within the area covered by the town buses, and your Jojo card can´t be topped up with pay as you go
credit onboard either.

If you are using Jojo pay as you go, you can pay for the whole journey in one. Period travelcards can´t be added to Jojo cards onboard any of the town buses in Skåne. Terms and conditions for cash payments onboard vehicles are subject to change
at short notice.

Buy Jojo card pay as you go in new places

Jojo is the way to pay when you travel on the Skånetrafiken network: on the Öresund train, Pågatåg local train services, and town and regional buses.

Öresundståg will not stop in Tårnby and Ørestad when trains are delayed

When trains are delayed - up to seven minutes late - will Öresundståg not stop in Tårnby and Ørestad. You will get information on the train if it doesn`t stop at these stations. To get to Tårnby and Ørestad you have to change at Kastrup. Trains which will stop at Tårnby and Ørestad will arrive in any minute.
We hope that this effort concerning the trains will reduce delays between Sweden and Denmark.

Travel with Öresundståg all the way to Gothenburg

Skånetrafiken, along with public transport service companies in Halland, Kronoberg, Västra Götaland and Blekinge, have responsibility for Öresundståg traffic in the south of Sweden.

All traffic should be fossil free in 2020

All electrical power for the trains is renewable power from hydro electric power plants or wind power. About 90 % of the city buses are run by vehicle gas. All traffic should be done by renewable fuels which are fossil free in 2020.
