Penalty Fare

Please note that cash is not accepted as payment on board buses or trains. When you are travelling with Skånetrafiken/Öresund trains it is your responsibility as a passenger to ensure that you have a valid ticket.

Failure to produce a valid ticket/travel card on demand will render a penalty fare currently set at SEK 1,000.

Ticket inspections are carried out by G4S on behalf of Skånetrafiken. The penalty fare can also be issued by the staff on board.
