Around the Sound is the name of Skånetrafiken's very popular excursion ticket. Simply travel "around the Sound" and make as many stops as you want.
The ticket gives you two days of unlimited travel in Skåne and Denmark and also offers a few discounts along the way.
Fares
Adult ticket SEK 249. Child/Youth fare ticket SEK 124 (ages 7-16).
An adult may bring along two children under the age of 7 at no extra cost.
Validity
Make as many stops as you like during 48 hours.
- The only condition is that you cross the Öresund bridge (Öresundsbron) in one direction and take the Scandlines ferry between Helsingborg and Helsingør in the other direction.
- Which direction you choose to go first is up to you.
- The ticket offers unlimited travel across Skåne on Pågatåg trains, Öresund trains, regional buses (yellow) and city buses (green). In Denmark, the ticket is valid for journeys along the coast (Kystbanan) with Öresund trains, as well as on the Metro and all of Movia's buses in the metropolitan area.
- The Around the Sound ticket is also valid on the Scandlines ferries between Helsingborg and Helsingør.

SCANDLINES
Helsingborg– Helsingør. Coupon for a 20% discount on prawn sandwiches and beer/soft drinks in the café/restaurant. The coupon is part of your ticket.
Penalty fare
Please note that cash is not accepted as payment on board buses or trains. When travelling by train in Skåne or Denmark you have to buy your ticket before you board the train. Failure to produce a valid ticket/travel card on demand will render a penalty fare.
